Cosmetic Gum Surgery & Veneers

This patient was unhappy with her upper front bridge, the mismatch of colours with all her teeth and the lower worn crowded front teeth. This was a complicated case because orthodontics were declined. The treatment we provided included upper cosmetic gum surgery to create a better framework for the final smile. Then porcelain veneer restorations for the upper and lower teeth included the replacement of the upper front bridge. In the end we created a stunning smile and corrected the crowding and bad bite issues that were present.

Upper & Lower Cosmetic Gum Surgery & Veneers

The main concerns for this patient were the unesthetic front crown, the mismatch of colours with all her teeth and the wear that was present. Ten Upper Porcelain Veneers

This patent was unhappy with their smile, and their teeth exhibited discoloration with advanced wear. We were able to engineer and create a beautiful smile with conservative prepartions for the upper ten teeth.

Front Teeth Bonding & Veneers

The main concern for this patient was that they were unhappy with their worn smile and the staining on there teeth. There were also bonding on the front teeth that did not match in colour. We treated this patient with 8 upper porcelain veneers and bite balancing. The new smile was whiter and more vibrant, and she was ecstatic with the final results.

Implants, Grafting & Porcelain Restorations

Force management was a key for this patient as he had broken two front teeth that had no existing fillings. The key was staging his treatment which involved extensive planning by Dr. Modi. 7 implants were placed along with grafting to create the ideal gingiva around his front teeth which is the “framework” for the art which is the porcelain restorations. His lower teeth were then restored followed by his upper front teeth and molars. Forces on all teeth were balanced using our digital bite recorder to confirm. This patient has been stable and very excited to show his smile again.

Jaw Surgery, Teeth Re-alignment, Implants & Crowns

This patient had major jaw alignment and crowding issues along with missing teeth and multiple heavily restored existing teeth. His treatment was interdisciplinary between both Dr. Modi and a local orthodontist. Jaw surgery was performed followed by the teeth being aligned in a position that allowed for Dr. Modi to restore his heavily restored teeth to an ideal bite. 3 Implants and multiple crowns were placed along with bite balancing to even out the forces on his teeth and allow for efficient chewing. He is very pleased with both his current smile and functional outcome.

Porcelain Restorations, Bridges, Implants & Crowns

Patient presented with deteriorating teeth. After evaluating her condition using 21 photos and bite analysis with mounted models, Dr. Pio Modi recommended opening her bite through porcelain restorations for salvageable teeth, and using bridges and implants for those needing extraction. Only three teeth required removal. The remaining teeth were restored with porcelain and gold crowns for the back molars, improving chewing efficiency and jaw harmony. This treatment not only enhanced function but also gave the patient a smile she was proud to share.

Porcelain Veneers & Gap Closure

The main focus for this patient was to close the cap between her two front teeth, improve the colour and broaden her smile. Functional records and a smile analysis was done. The treatment provided included 8 beautiful porcelain Veneers for her upper teeth, bite balancing and extraction of her wisdom teeth, to allow for a harmonious functional bite. This patient was very happy with her beautiful new smile which also closed the gap between her two front teeth.

Lower Bridge & Crowns

Patient had severe wear issues on his upper front teeth caused by an overly bulky lower front bridge. Chipping and severe wear on the inside of these teeth were present. A correction was needed by first evaluating and waxing up his teeth on a set of precise jaw mounted models. Then we proceeded to open up his bite with a new lower bridge and crowns and a bridge for the remaining teeth. These were set to better and more efficient bite planes and his teeth are now stable both functionally and aesthetically.

Porcelain & Resin Toppers and an Implant Bridge

This patient presented with a fractured bridge and the teeth underneath it on his upper front teeth and another bridge beside it that was on its way to the same failure. After our diagnostic workup we recommended that the best way to treat him would be to open his bite with porcelain and resin toppers and then an implant bridge with grafting to replace the broken teeth and a new bridge to replace the one beside it. Opening and balancing his bite was key to reducing the bite force on these new bridges. He is now restored to optimal function and has smile that he is very pleased with.

Resin Veneers & Gum Recontouring

This patent was sent to the orthodontist to have their teeth properly aligned and then came back to us to have her peg restore. A wax up of her teeth using mounted models was done, we then did gum surgery to recontour her gums to the proper heights, then we did resin veneers for her two upper laterals to maximize the length and idealize the aesthetics to create a beautiful long lasting smile.

Closure of Large Gaps in Teeth

This patient came to us after his orthodontic treatment was completed, to help close the large gaps between his upper front teeth. We were able to do a very conservative treatment that involved minimal preparation to the teeth and closing the gaps with resin bonding (white fillings) using a specialized technique. Closing the gaps, we were significantly able to improve this patient’s overall smile.
