Dr. Pio Modi is a trusted Doctor of Dental Surgery with over 15 years of experience providing comprehensive care in Brantford, Ontario-his hometown. After earning an Honours B.Sc. in Chemistry from McMaster University, he graduated as class Valedictorian from the University of Toronto’s Dental School in 2001, followed by a residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Ohio.

He is part of the teaching faculty at The Dawson Academy, serving as a Teaching Assistant and Associate Director of the Ambassador Program. Dr. Modi is also a member of leading dental associations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics.

Committed to advanced, patient-focused care, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in cosmetic, implant, and reconstructive dentistry. His full-mouth rehabilitation work was recently published in Oral Health Journal.

At Parkway Dentistry, Dr. Modi and his team are known for their welcoming, patient-first approach—offering expert care in a comfortable and modern setting.

Dr. Usman Malik earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Toronto and Bachelor of Science Honours Degree from York University. Dedicated to staying at the forefront of dental advancements, he regularly attends the Ontario Dental Association’s annual conferences and continues to expand his skills through ongoing education with the American Dental Association (ADA).

He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Brant Dental Society, the Toronto Academy of Dentistry, and the Ontario Dental Association.

Originally from Toronto, Dr. Malik has called Brantford home for almost 20 years. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys yoga, working out, spending time at the cottage, and being with his family—especially his three nephews, who he absolutely adores.

Dr. Malik is especially skilled at creating a calm and comfortable experience for children as well as adults. His kind and gentle manner helps ensure their dental visits are not only stress-free, but truly positive.

Karlee is a Level II Certified Dental Assistant and proud Brantford local who has been working in dentistry since 2015. As Parkway Dentistry’s Treatment Coordinator, she works closely with patients and the dental team to ensure each visit is smooth, supportive, and focused on personalized care.

Karlee loves being part of a team that makes a positive difference in people’s lives and brings a warm, caring energy to everything she does.

Outside of work, Karlee enjoys time with her husband and two son’s. She also loves listening to country music and spending sunny days at the beach.

Alyssa grew up in Paris, Ontario, and attended Paris District High School. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Niagara College and has been a valued member of the Parkway Dentistry team for over 14 years.

Alyssa excels at educating patients about their oral and overall health, but her favourite part of the job is building strong, personal relationships with each of them.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending summers at her cottage in Sauble Beach with her boyfriend Devin, their son Hunter, daughter Hannah, and their cat, Diesel. Her hobbies include going for walks, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Chantel was born and raised in Brantford and now lives in Long Point. She attended North Park Collegiate, where she completed her cooperative education with Dr. Modi, and went on to earn her Dental Hygiene diploma from Fanshawe College in London.

She’s passionate about helping patients optimize and maintain their oral health through clinical care, education, and overall health promotion.

Outside the office, Chantel enjoys five-pin bowling – a hobby she’s loved since she was five. She and her husband, Chase, have two children-Kane and Kali. They enjoy spending their time together in Long Point, boating, fishing, and relaxing with their black lab, Phoenix.

Maggie has been working in the dental field for over 35 years. She studied dentistry at Karol Marcinkowski Medical Academy in Europe, and later continued her education in Dental Hygiene and Adult Education. Throughout her career, she has worked in both private practice and as an educator at the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries.

In 2009, Maggie was selected as one of a small group of hygienists in Ontario to lead a pilot project funded by Health Canada, focused on improving oral health in First Nations communities.

She is passionate about providing personalized care, with close attention to detail, to ensure a comfortable and fulfilling experience for every Parkway patient.

Outside the clinic, Maggie enjoys spending time outdoors and being with her two sons.

Kelly is a Level II Certified Dental Assistant with 20 years of experience and has been a valued member of Dr. Modi’s team for over 19 years. She assists Dr. Modi with implant surgeries, cosmetic treatments, and other surgical procedures. Kelly is known for her calm, supportive demeanor and for treating every patient like family.

She especially enjoys seeing cosmetic cases come together and takes great satisfaction in the joy patients feel when their treatment is complete.

Outside the clinic, Kelly leads a busy, active life with her husband and their two young boys. In the summer, they enjoy spending time at the family cottage. Kelly also plays baseball — and even runs her own league.

Lauren joined Parkway Dentistry in July 2018, bringing nearly 10 years of experience as a Level II Certified Dental Assistant. She enjoys meeting new patients and being part of their journey to optimal oral health. Lauren’s passion for dental care makes her a valued member of the Parkway team.

She lives in Mount Pleasant with her boyfriend and their two dogs, Tucker and Ruby. A lifelong horse enthusiast, Lauren spends much of her free time at the barn. She also loves cooking and cherishing moments with family and friends.

Grace has been a dental assistant since 2014 and enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients. She takes pride in providing compassionate care and making every visit a positive experience.

Outside of work, Grace values quality time with her fiancé, their dog, and two cats. She also enjoys dining out and spending time with friends and family.

Sherry brings over 30 years of experience to her role as Treatment Coordinator. She began her dental career working alongside Dr. Pio and Kelly- back when Dr. Pio was still an associate, and reconnected with them in 2022 when she joined the Parkway Dentistry team.

She is known for her friendly, approachable nature and for making patients feel at ease from the moment they walk through the door.

Outside of the clinic, Sherry enjoys camping with her husband, to whom she has been happily married for 35 years, and cherishes time spent with family and friends. She’s a proud grandmother to two grandchildren, with a third on the way.

Lindsay is one of the newest members of the Parkway Dentistry team, bringing a strong background in customer service, scheduling, and client communications. Prior to joining the dental field, she successfully owned and operated a spa, where she focused on building strong client relationships and creating a positive experience through branding and personalized service.

She made the transition to dentistry seeking a fresh direction in her career. Her approachable nature and strong organizational skills make her a great fit at Parkway Dentistry.

Originally from the Paris area, Lindsay now lives in Brantford with her husband, their three children, and their dog. Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and close friends.

With over 35 years of experience in the dental industry, Tanya brings exceptional depth, leadership, and passion to every practice she works with. Her expertise spans all areas of dental operations, including production, systems management, patient retention, team training, compliance, and overall practice efficiency.

Tanya holds a Certified Practice Manager Certificate from the University of Toronto and is a Level II Certified Dental Assistant, Certified Treatment Coordinator, and Certified Consultant through IAP College. She has also earned a Practice Management Implant Certification/Implant Coordinator designation through ICOI/ADIA, a Train-the-Trainer Certificate specializing in Treatment Coordination and Management, and a Compliance Consultant Certification through OSAP. In addition, she holds a CSA Certificate in Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR).

Her professional development includes extensive consulting and management training with The Levin Group and the Scheduling Institute, along with advanced experience in surgical, full-mouth reconstruction, sedation, cosmetic, and orthodontic dentistry. A dedicated lifelong learner, Tanya maintains memberships in more than ten professional organizations and continues to expand her knowledge to stay at the forefront of the dental field.

Outside of dentistry, Tanya enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with her daughter.

Christin is a dedicated dental assistant with over 11 years of experience in the field. After graduating from Level II Dental Assisting at George Brown College in Toronto in 2014, she embarked on her career with a passion for helping individuals meet their dental needs and ensure they feel comfortable during their visits.

Since 2008 Christin has been as essential member at Parkway Dentistry, where she assists Dr. Modi and the associates with various dental procedures. Her commitment to patient care and comfort distinguishes her as a valued professional in the practice.

In addition to her work in dentistry, Christin also enjoys a part-time role at a friend’s restaurant, blending her professional life with her personal connections. Outside of work, she loves spending time off with friends and family, cherishing the moments that bring her joy.

Rae’s journey into dentistry began early, thanks to a high school co-op placement at a local dental office that sparked her passion for oral health care. Inspired by that experience, she went on to study at Fanshawe College in London, where she graduated as a Level II Dental Assistant.

Known for her positive energy and caring nature, Rae loves making patients feel comfortable and supported during their visits. Whether she’s assisting chairside or helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, Rae is a vital part of our dental team.

Outside the office, Rae enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, diving into a good book, and staying active with tennis and pickleball. She’s also thrilled to have recently welcomed a new puppy, Axel, into her life — and he’s already stealing hearts!

Lexi brings nearly two decades of experience and a warm, friendly touch to our dental team. Her journey in dentistry began in 2007 when she enrolled in dental assisting school, graduating in 2009. After working as a dental assistant for three years, Lexi decided to further her education and passion for oral health by attending the Ontario Dental Education Institute. She graduated in 2014 and became a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).

With 11 years of experience in dental hygiene and a total of 18 years in the dental field, Lexi is known for her gentle approach, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care. She is also trained in laser therapy, allowing her to provide advanced treatment options to support her patients’ oral health.

Outside of the clinic, Lexi enjoys traveling with her family, hosting gatherings at her home, and spending time with her beloved beagle, Willie.
