Your First Visit To Parkway Dentistry
When you first visit our dental practice you’ll discover how committed we are to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care.
We understand that you or your family may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. If this is the case we promise you don’t have to worry. We’re highly sensitive and will ensure that you’ll be taken care of in the most relaxing and comforting environment.
Dental Care for Kids
Children should start visiting the dentist around their first birthday or when they’re teeth start coming in. At that age children generally don’t have a fear of the dentist, but our pediatric/kid dentistry is always geared towards making the visit for your child the most pleasant and enjoyable experience possible.
We specialize in dental care for infants, children, and adolescents and provide cleanings, regular checkups, and perform any types of dental services that may be required.
Remember: our priority is to always make you feel as pleasant as possible and to provide you with the best dental care possible.
It’s About Your Comfort, Happiness, and Your Health
During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history forms, and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. Then Dr. Modi, Dr. Usman Malik, or Dr. Shawna Gao will meet with you to discuss your X-rays, create your own individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have.
At your next visit, one of our hygienists will clean and polish your teeth, and inspect your teeth and gums for cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis.
Maintaining a Healthy Smile With Regular Checkups!
The Canadian Dental Association recommends a visit to your dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep your teeth and gums healthy. We understand you have a busy schedule, so when you’re preparing to visit us, please remember your appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes.
